October Newsletter - 10/3 Monaghan's (Unplugged), 10/10 Sage Diner (Unplugged), 10/11 R Park Tavern (Aston Brass Band), 10/25 Liberty Tavern (Full Slightly Sedated)
Sedated Friends and Fans,
     We have a very busy month of music for you in October, with 3 different acts playing 4 different Delco venues.  We have the "Unplugged" Duo doing Monaghan's (10/3) and the Sage Diner (10/10), the full "Slightly Sedated" band doing the Liberty Tavern (10/25), and the "Aston Brass Band" outdoors at the R Park Tavern (10/11).  Yes a busy month and we hope you can join us for some music.
Here are the details.

• Fri. Oct. 3 - (7:00-10:00) - "Slightly Unplugged" Duo at Monaghan's Irish Pub, Essington, PA  (https://www.monaghanspub.com/)
  John and Steve return for a Friday night "Unplugged" acoustic show, which means a good chance for you to enjoy our music at our favorite Irish pub.  Monaghan's is the coziest Irish Pub in Delco with the biggest and most delicious pub grub menu you'll ever experience.  With Wings, Sliders, Steaks, Hoagies, Flatbreads and a long list of appetizers, and they also feature a number of local craft brews on tap from Troegs, Victory Brewing, Golden Road, 2SP and Guinness (of course).  We often stay after our show just to eat at Monaghan's.  Full Menu and directions are available at https://www.monaghanspub.com/.
• Fri. Oct. 10 (6:30-9:30) - "Slightly Unplugged" Duo at The Sage Diner and Restaurant- Chichester, PA (https://sagedinerpa.com/)
  As a new venue for "Slightly Unplugged", the Sage Diner and Restaurant is a "Diner Delight" and much more.  Their expansive spiral bound menu has everything you could want or expect, and we personally scouted the Sage in prep for our performance with rave reviews from everyone in our dinner party.  Even if you don't make it out to see us play, we would recommend a trip to the Sage for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Additionally with full bar service and live music, they should be considered for the "Delco Diner Hall of Fame" (if there is such a thing).  With a sparkling atmosphere and family friendly, we hope you can make it out to drink, dine, dance and enjoy an evening of our music.
  
• Sat. Oct. 11 (7:00-9:00) - "Aston Brass Band" at The R Park Tavern, Ridley Park, PA (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100075941375325)
  "And now for something completely different", the Aston Brass Band will be playing outdoors behind the R Park Tavern as part of the Ridley Park Fall Festival.  Built on New Orleans style brass bands, this group covers the Rebirth Brass Band, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and many others, as well as brass-jazz-funk (a la Herbie Hancock), swing (Cab Calloway), Dixieland and 2nd line.  We hope you can join us as we continue our quest to become Delco's hottest brass band (we may be Delco's only one). • Sat. Oct. 25 (7:00-11:00) - "Full Band" at The Liberty Tavern, Woodlyn, PA (https://www.facebook.com/p/Liberty-Tavern-Woodlyn-100090260588896/)
  The Liberty Tavern is the evolution of Liberty Steaks and Hoagies into a great Delco-vibe bar, as they have done some great re-modeling of the facility while retaining their acclaimed cheese steaks, philly steak and hoagie menu, with attentive staff, a full fledged beer menu, a fully stocked bar, and with a regular live music schedule.  It doesn't get any better than that!!  "Delco Barbie" of course, more new Tom Petty.  Lots of St. James Bulldogs alumni were with us last time and we hope to see all of our Delco friends.
