November Newsletter - Monaghans Irish Pub (11/8), and The R Park Tavern (11/16)
Sedated Friends and Fans,
     November is upon us already and as we head toward Thanksgiving, you should get out to dance off a few calories prior to Turkey day, and we've got two shows for you.  Our "Slightly Unplugged" duo will be at Monaghan's Irish Pub (Essington) on Fri. Nov. 8 and the full band returns the R Park Tavern (Ridley Park) on Sat. Nov. 16. You are also encouraged to come out to see the Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra's presentation of "The Pirates of Penzance" at Strath Haven Middle School with shows remaining this weekend on Sat. Nov. 2 (2:00 and 8:00) and Sun Nov. 3 (2:00).
Here are the details.

• Fri. November 8 (7:00-10:00) - "Slightly Unplugged" Duo at Monaghan's Irish Pub, Essington, PA  (https://www.monaghanspub.com/)
  John and Steve return for a Friday night "Unplugged" acoustic show.  Monaghan's is the coziest Irish Pub in Delco with the biggest and most delicious pub grub menu you'll ever experience.  With Wings, Sliders, Steaks, Hoagies, Flatbreads and a long list of appetizers, and they also feature a number of local craft brews on tap from Troegs, Victory Brewing, Golden Road, 2SP and Guinness (of course).  Full Menu and directions are available at https://www.monaghanspub.com/.
• Sat. November 16 (7:00-10:00) - The R Park Tavern - Ridley Park, PA (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076206070900)
  One of Delco's hidden treasures, the R Park Tavern is a friendly and cozy neighborhood tavern with a delicious and varied pub grub menu that the locals rave about.  The "R Park" is easy to get to, located on Sellers Ave., just minutes from I-95 (Stewart Ave. exit).  The "R Park" stands for Ridley Park of course, and we're hoping many of our Delco friends can make it out to enjoy the R Park hospitality, conviviality, food and drink, and our music.  We have revived our original song "Delco Barbie" in honor of the 2023 hit movie and it's Oscar nomination and dish out lots of Tom Petty material as we morph into Delco's premiere Tom Petty tribute band.
